Original records are preserved
Submitted records cannot be edited or deleted through the system. If a correction is required, it is made as a new entry while the original remains available in the history.
Attribution comes from the signed-in session
The service associates records with the signed-in user, role, property or outlet and submission time. This reduces reliance on manually typed initials and creates a more useful operating history.
Role and property separation
Access is scoped according to the configured customer, property and user role. Kitchen users, supervisors and directors receive different levels of access according to their responsibilities.
Platform support access
Culinary Strategy platform administrators can open a customer's account to set it up and give support. Each entry is recorded, and anything an administrator does is stamped with their name and marked as platform support, so it can't be mistaken for the customer's own record.
Offline operation and synchronisation
Where offline recording is enabled, entries can be held on the device and synchronised when connectivity returns, helping kitchens continue recording during temporary network interruptions.
Transport and file access
The public service is served over HTTPS. Photos and documents used by the FSMS are intended to be accessed through authenticated application flows rather than public file listings.
Export and audit evidence
Authorised users can review records in the system and export filtered evidence for legitimate operational, audit, insurance or record-keeping requirements.
