Food-safety records ready when FSSAI asks.
CSA FSMS helps hotels and restaurants replace paper registers, Excel files and scattered WhatsApp evidence with structured daily checks, corrective actions and searchable records — so teams can run food safety every day and retrieve the proof quickly when an auditor or inspector asks.
Built for Indian hospitality. HACCP-based records. Mapped to the FSSAI catering / auditor checklist.
A cook's or supervisor's day at a glance. Sample data; every property in your group looks like this.

Still managing food safety through paper registers, Excel or WhatsApp?
Paper records what someone wrote down. CSA FSMS shows what was due, what happened, who did it, what failed and what was done about it — without waiting for someone to send a file, a photo or a WhatsApp message.
See today at a glance
Managers see what is done, due and overdue without chasing folders or waiting until an audit.
Know who did what
Every record carries the person, role, outlet and submission time automatically.
Fix failures on the record
Failed checks stay visible with the corrective action, owner and close-out instead of disappearing into paperwork.
Be ready when evidence is requested
Search and retrieve the exact records an inspector or director asks for instead of rebuilding evidence by hand.
Inspection activity is rising. The answer is stronger daily control.
Recent enforcement in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Telangana has focused on hygiene, storage, temperature control, pest activity, licence issues and missing supporting records. Inspection readiness means the control happens every day—and the evidence is there when asked.
See what a cook sees
Enter a reading for the walk-in chiller. Anything above 5 °C is a fail, and the form asks for a corrective action before it can be saved.
- The limit is on screen. Cooks do not need to remember it.
- A fail needs an action. It is recorded with the failure, not as an afterthought.
- Limits are set per check. Cold 5 °C or below, frozen −18 °C or below, cooked 75 °C for non-veg, hot holding 65 °C or above (70 °C non-veg).
Find any record in seconds
When an inspector asks for last Tuesday's cooling log, or a director wants every failed reading this month, Explorer filters the full history by date, property, outlet, record type, status, person and corrective action. Open a row for the detail, then export what you see.
| Time | Property | Record | Reading | By | Status | CA |
|---|
Click a row to open it. CSV opens in Excel; PDF prints the filtered view. Sample records for two invented properties.
Everything an inspector asks for, ready in one place
Audit Packs open Record Explorer already filtered for common requests. The supporting registers sit alongside the operational records, so evidence can be found without rebuilding a report by hand.

Calibration History
Probe and thermometer calibration evidence.

Know where your evidence sits against the FSSAI checklist
CSA FSMS maps relevant records, registers and documents to the FSSAI catering checklist. Restaurants can keep the day-to-day experience simple, while hotels and hotel groups can use the same system to work systematically through the full 47-point readiness framework.
- Limits are built into the checks. Cooking, cooling and hot-holding records show the required operating limits on screen.
- Only what applies to you. A short property profile helps determine which checklist questions are relevant to the operation.
- Evidence is easier to prepare. Records, registers and documents sit alongside the questions they support.
For restaurants
Keep the first experience practical: complete the required checks, correct failures and retrieve the records quickly when FSSAI asks.
For hotels
Use the full checklist view to make sure no requirement, kitchen, supporting document or corrective action is overlooked before an audit.
Examples from the CSA FSMS readiness model. The 47-point assessment supports internal FSSAI audit readiness; it is not certification or regulatory approval.
Every property, one view
For hotel groups, restaurant groups, QSRs and caterers, CSA shows which properties are done, due or overdue for each check — and lets leaders drill straight into the locations that need attention first.
- Worst status first. A card shows "3 of 4 properties done · 1 overdue" and lists the properties that need attention.
- Properties keep their own settings. Forms, photo rules and overdue times are set per property by a director.
- Closed days are not failures. A property marked closed is never counted as missed or overdue.

Built by people who understand professional kitchens
CSA FSMS was developed around the way food-safety records are actually created, reviewed and inspected in working hospitality operations — not around generic checklist software.

Kitchen staff sign in on the kitchen tablet. Supervisors and directors have their own sign-ins. Access is set by the server, never by the device.
Records that cannot be quietly changed
An audit trail only works when the original record is preserved. Submitted records cannot be edited or deleted through the system. If a correction is required, a new entry is created while the original remains in the history.
Append-only evidence
A saved record is never edited or deleted. A correction is a new entry, and the original stays in the history.
Identity stamped by the server
Who logged a record, in what role and when is set from the signed-in session on the server. It is not typed in and cannot be changed afterwards.
Separated by client and property
Which business and property a record belongs to comes from the session, never from the request. Staff see their own property; directors see their group.
Roles that fit the job
Cooks log, supervisors review, directors configure. Kitchen tablets sign in with a PIN; directors with a password.
Works offline, syncs safely
Entries are saved on the device first and sent when the connection returns. A sync tile shows what is waiting, and sessions are expired, not deleted, so late entries are still attributed correctly.

Work systematically through the 47-point FSSAI catering checklist
For hotels and larger operations, run a structured internal readiness assessment across the complete 47-point framework, review linked evidence, identify gaps and turn failed items into corrective actions before an external audit or inspection.
Internal assessment only. It does not constitute certification, regulatory approval or a third-party audit.
Questions
Is CSA FSMS different for restaurants and hotels?
The underlying platform is complete for both. Restaurants are presented with a simpler operating story focused on daily checks, records, corrective actions and FSSAI inspection readiness. Hotels can use the same system more comprehensively across the full 47-point readiness framework, multiple kitchens, outlets and properties.
Does the FSMS replace paper checklists?
Yes. Daily, weekly, monthly and event-based checks are completed on a tablet, phone or computer. Each record is stamped with the person, role, outlet and time, so there is nothing to file, scan or lose.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. Records are saved on the device first and sync automatically when the connection returns. A sync indicator shows what is waiting.
Can records be edited or deleted after they are saved?
No. Evidence is append-only. A mistake is corrected with a new entry and the original stays in the history.
How do I get records out of the system?
Record Explorer shows every record on screen with filters, and exports the filtered set as CSV or a PDF. Audit Packs open the Explorer pre-filtered for common requests such as an FSSAI inspection.
Is the internal audit a certificate?
No. The internal audit is an internal readiness assessment built on the FSSAI catering checklist. It helps teams identify gaps and corrective actions; it is not certification, regulatory approval or a substitute for a third-party audit.
Does it follow FSSAI requirements?
It is built around the FSSAI catering checklist. Relevant checklist questions are linked to the record, register or document that supports them, helping teams prepare their evidence and identify gaps. It supports food-safety management and audit readiness and does not replace licensing, certification or a third-party audit. CSA FSMS is not affiliated with or endorsed by FSSAI and does not certify compliance.
What do we need to get started?
A tablet, phone or computer with a modern browser in each kitchen. We set up your properties, outlets, checks and limits with you, and a director confirms the FSSAI baseline.
Who can see what?
Kitchen staff log and view their own property's checks. Supervisors review and close corrective actions. Directors configure properties and see the whole group.
Does it work for a group with several properties?
Yes. Each property keeps its own records and settings, and directors get a group view that shows which properties are done, due or overdue.
Do lower-priced customers get fewer FSMS features?
No. Every customer receives the complete standard CSA FSMS. Restaurant, hotel and enterprise pricing reflects operational scale rather than a restricted feature set.
